How do I clean my Dyson vacuum (yellow one)?

Query by genosmommy: How do I clean my Dyson vacuum (yellow one particular)?
Inside of the plastic barrel, so significantly dust collects in the “honeycomb” aread and all above. I’ve hand cleaned as much as I could, but I’d really like a far better way to clean it. I rinsed it the moment with h2o, but that left a dirty, musty smell. Any recommendations? Possibly the portion (w/ honeycomb) inside the barrel comes off and I haven’t figured out how? I’ve experimented with the Dyson website – it was no assist.

I have a small electric leaf blower. Take it outside and blow the heck out of it. All the yuck will come out.

I use a feather duster inside mine, but I like the idea of blowing it out too.

You remove the black washer/gasket and slide out the thing that looks like a space ship from star wars and get a can of air (staples) or get someone wiht an air compressor to blast it.

It tooke me a bit to figure out and you do have to pull somewhat hard to get it the first time.
